How We Work
We want the process to feel clear and straightforward from the beginning. Whether you already have a firm idea or are still exploring the possibilities, we will guide you through each stage.
How It Works
Let’s Have a Chat
Tell us what you are thinking, how you would like to use the space and what you hope to achieve. We can send you our garden room specification and pricing guide so you can understand what is included, explore the available upgrades and decide whether the project suits your requirements and budget.
Site Visit and Quotation
We will arrange a visit to assess the available space, discuss your requirements and talk through the different options. Following the visit, we will provide a clear, detailed quotation for the project.
Design and Planning Once
Once you are happy to proceed, we will work through the design and practical details with you. You will receive 3D drawings of the proposed room, allowing the layout and appearance to be agreed before construction begins.
Book Your Project
Once the design and quotation are agreed, we will confirm the build dates and secure your place in our schedule with a deposit and agreed payment plan.
Your Build Begins
This is where your ideas start to take shape. We will keep you updated throughout the project, answer any questions and make sure the work is completed to the standard you would expect from JB Custom Carpentry.
The Finishing Touches
Once the work is complete, we will walk through the finished project with you, check that you are happy with everything and ensure your new space is ready to enjoy.

Clear Pricing and Payment Stages
We believe pricing should be clear and straightforward, so you will know where you stand before work begins.
All projects require a deposit to confirm the booking and secure a place in our schedule. Once your quotation has been approved, we will agree a payment plan based on the size and scope of the project, with staged payments made at key points throughout the build.
Everything will be clearly explained and agreed in writing before work starts, so there are no unexpected costs along the way.
